FAQs
Q: Does acupuncture hurt?
A: Most people feel a brief, mild sensation when the needles are inserted—sometimes a tiny pinch, tingling, or a dull pressure—but it usually isn’t painful. Some points on the body might feel a little more sensitive, but the needles are very thin, much thinner than typical medical needles.
Many people even describe the experience as relaxing, and some fall asleep during their session. Occasionally, there might be slight soreness or bruising afterward, but that usually goes away within a day or two.
Q: How many sessions will I need before I see results?
A: Generally, the number of acupuncture sessions needed before seeing results depends on the condition being treated, its severity, and individual response. Contact us to schedule a consultation.
