Common Questions
&
Other Things You Need To Know

Q: How do I schedule an appointment?

A: Scheduling is simple! Just call or text 818-378-7642 or use the online form to request days and times that work best for you. We will reply to confirm or suggest alternatives which may also work.

Q: What is your cancellation/return policy?

A: We require at least 24 hours advance notice of cancelling or rescheduling your appointment out of consideration for our physicians, therapists, and patients desiring appointments. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to 100% of the service fee. We understand life can be unpredictable so you may call, text, or email us at any time, even after hours.

All products and services are non-refundable, so we encourage you to review your selections carefully before making your purchase.

Q: What if I'm late or miss my appointment?

A: Arriving late will shorten your treatment time but not necessarily your experience. Oftentimes we are able to provide thorough treatments in shorter time frames without always reducing modalities or finishing touches (for example bodywork or face mask/LED depending on your service). If you are over 15 minutes late, a treatment can still be administered but most likely without additional modalities or finishing touches. No-shows, cancellations with fewer than 24 hours notice, and arrivals later than 15 minutes, will incur the full service fee.

Q: Do you treat children?

A: All of our services can be catered to everyone, from pediatric to geriatric. Please call to discuss age-appropriate options. Minors require parental consent.

Microneedling Before Care:

Please avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least 48 hours prior to your treatment. Discontinue retinoids, exfoliating acids, and other potentially irritating skincare products 3–5 days before your appointment unless otherwise directed by your provider. Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, lotions, or sunscreen, if possible. If you have an active skin infection, irritation, or open wounds in the treatment area, please contact us prior to your appointment and inform our physician/therapist.

Microneedling After Care:

After treatment, your skin may appear red and feel warm or sensitive for 24–48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. Avoid direct sun exposure, strenuous exercise, saunas, and swimming pools during this time. Use gentle skincare products and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect the treated area. Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, and other active ingredients until your provider advises it is appropriate to resume your normal routine.

LED Light Therapy:

Protective eyewear is required and provided for your safety and comfort. If you have a light sensitivity, are taking photosensitizing medications, or have a medical condition that may be affected by light exposure, please consult with your primary healthcare provider or specialist prior to your treatment and inform our physician/therapist.

Insurance

We are not currently in-network with any insurance provider, and payment is due when services are rendered. We can, however, verify if your insurance has out-of-network benefits for acupuncture so you can submit a Superbill, an itemized bill which has the particular information necessary to process your claim, for reimbursement.*

(*Suberbills for insurance reimbursement cannot be given for treatments purchased as part of a package.)

Health Savings Account (HSA)/Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Acupuncture qualifies as an approved medical procedure for all HSA/FSA accounts. You may use your HSA/FSA debit card (subject to processing fee as explained below) for payment or be given a Superbill which you can submit for reimbursement whether service is purchased a la carte or as part of a package.

Acceptable forms of payment

You may pay directly with cash, domestic bank check, or Zelle and not incur any additional fees.

You may pay indirectly with credit/debit/HSA/FSA cards and pay the processing fee for your transaction which ranges from 2.7%-3.5% plus 5¢-30¢. You will be notified of the exact amount at the time of purchase.

You may also pay with Cherry payment plans which has interest-free options.

Financing through Cherry

Cherry is a third-party financing company designed to help you access wellness services and aesthetic treatments without the burden of paying the full treatment cost upfront. With Cherry, you can split your purchase price into convenient weekly or monthly payments, allowing you to move forward with your preferred treatments.

Cherry’s approval process is fast, secure, and simple: complete a 60-second application and get an instant decision after a soft credit check that won’t affect your credit score. If approved, you will see various financing options with different payment terms–including qualifying for 0% APR for monthly plans and the always-interest-free “Pay-in-4” plan which is Cherry’s 6-week plan. You can conveniently repay Cherry over time using your preferred method: debit/credit card* or ACH bank transfer.

(*Note: if you choose to use credit or prepaid debit card for the initial downpayment and to repay Cherry, payments are subject to a 2.99% processing fee. Traditional bank debit cards do not incur this fee.)
